John Boswell

Bureau Chief, Fox News

John Boswell is the Southeastern bureau chief for the Fox News channel. He oversees news coverage in six southern states, including Georgia. Before joining Fox last summer, Boswell spent 21 years with the Atlanta bureau for ABC News, coordinating coverage in the Southeast for the network. Major stories he has covered include the 1996 Olympics and the Centennial Park bombing, the search for and capture of Eric Rudolph, the destruction of the space shuttle Columbia, Katrina and its aftermath, plus numerous other hurricanes. He won a national Emmy for coverage of the Elian Gonzalez story in Miami during April of 2000. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Davidson College in North Carolina. He lives in Decatur with his wife and three children.
