The APC Primary Runoff Election Debates

The Atlanta Press Club will host 9 primary run-off debates giving candidates a chance to debate the issues. The debates will take place at Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB), located at 260 14th Street in Midtown, in front of a live studio audience. Press club members, journalists, college students, and supporters are invited to be part of the live audience.

The following will air on Sunday, July 25

13th Congressional District Republicans
Invited candidates include Mike Crane and Deborah Honeycutt
This debate will air live from 6:00 – 6:30 p.m.

12th Congressional District Republicans
Invited Candidates: Raymond McKinney and Carl Smith
This debate will air live from 6:30 – 7 p.m.

7th Congressional District Republicans
Invited candidates include Jody Hice and Rob Woodall
This debate will air live from 7 – 7:30 p.m.

9th Congressional District Republicans
Invited candidates include Tom Graves and Lee Hawkins
This debate will air live from 7:30 – 8 p.m.

The following will take place on Friday, August 6

Public Service Commission, District 2 Republicans
Invited candidates include John Douglas and Tim Echols
This debate will tape from 5-5:30 p.m. and be posted on our website. See above for link.

Secretary of State Democrats
Invited candidates include Gail Buckner and Georganna Sinkfield
This debate will air live from 7-7:30 p.m.

Insurance Commissioner Republicans
Invited candidates include Ralph Hudgens and Maria Sheffield
This debate will air live from 7:30-8 p.m.

Governor Republicans
Invited candidates include Nathan Deal and Karen Handel
This debate will air live from 7:00 – 7:30 p.m

Attorney General Republicans
