The Atlanta Press Club selects qualified communications students for paid summer internships at eligible local media organizations. Atlanta Press Club interns will be placed based on their interests and abilities.

Internships allow students to receive hands-on work experience in a professional environment. Along with the opportunity to work at some of the leading news organizations in Atlanta, interns receive a $1,500 stipend for living expenses. Each internship lasts 15-25 hours per week during the summer of 2014.

For over a decade, the Atlanta Press Club’s Endowment Fund has been supporting college students each year with scholarships. The Atlanta Press Club has distributed over $65,000 to worthy students seeking careers in the journalism field. In 2013, the Atlanta Press Club proudly transformed its scholarship program into a paid internship program.

Atlanta Press Club internships are funded by proceeds from the Atlanta Press Club Hall of Fame dinner.
