After the Nov. book, Susan Stone, Exec. Producer at WSB-TV, will be moving to Phoenix to work as Investigative Executive Producer at the ABC affilite. Susan has been a long-time friend and past Board member of the press club.  We’ll miss both her and Tony (past Chair of the Gorilla Ball!) and wish them all the best!

The Atlanta Press Club lost a long-time friend and member this week.  Larry Lowenstein worked in our business for decades, exhibiting integrity and honesty at every turn.  I found Larry to be a delightful man with a quick and genuine smile.  He never stopped learning, sharing and loving life.  Larry will be missed.  A memorial service will be Sun., Oct. 15 at 3 p.m. at The Temple.
