Brian Nichols’ judge and the New Yorker

It was 13 words that Superior Court Judge Hilton Fuller spoke regarding Brian Nichols’ defense — printed in black-and-white in this week’s New Yorker in an article by Jeffrey Toobin — that caused the uproar that led to his resignation from Nichols’ trial. According to an article today on ajc.com, Toobin had no idea his article was the impetus for the uproar. Toobin’s article is an excellent look at the legal issues surrounding the Nichols trial and many wonder…will it ever actually happen?
